The guide and the vehicle are priced separately. A firm quotation is given once the number of guests, the length of the tour, the route and the guide's language have been considered together.

What You Can See in a Short Time from Each Port

Guests landing at Sarayburnu reach the landmarks of the historic peninsula after a short drive: Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar. As these sites lie close together, seeing more than one of them within limited time is realistic.

For guests leaving Galataport, Galata Tower, İstiklal Avenue and Taksim are nearby, and Dolmabahçe Palace and the Bosphorus neighbourhoods are on the same side of the water. Crossing the Galata Bridge also brings you to the historic peninsula.

Opening days affect the programme. The Grand Bazaar, for example, is closed on Sundays, and some palaces and museums have their own weekly closing day. Mosques close briefly to visitors during prayer times. The route is prepared with these points in mind for the specific day of your tour.

Traffic and Timing: Planning the Return to the Ship

Traffic on the historic peninsula and around the Galata Bridge changes quickly through the day, and the points where vehicles may stop to drop off passengers are limited. For this reason the route, the walking distances and the spots where the vehicle will wait are all determined in advance.

Guests ending their journey here are taken from the port to the airport or to their hotel after disembarking. If your flight time allows, a short city tour can also be placed between these transfers.

Cruise guests usually travel with a good deal of luggage. When the vehicle is selected, the number of suitcases is taken into account alongside the number of passengers.
